Well hello there!

Welcome, welcome one and all to my new blog!

Goddess Reviews is all about books. Yes, sorry if you came looking for something else, but the cat is out of the bag now. (Preferably Crookshanks.)

So what about books, you ask? Well, reviewing them to start off with. Sharing new and upcoming books that I'm excited for, maybe even a giveaway or two if I can manage it! Basically I want to share (okay, maybe the appropriate word is fan-girl) my love for books on this blog and hopefully with you!

So now to get on to the bit you're just salivating over:

Who am I?

My name is Shayna. I am a young adult on a quest to read every book I can get my hands on. And then of course review them.

It's hard for me to choose one book as my favorite, but if I had to choose it would be The Wind Blows Backwards by Mary Downing Hahn. This is one of the first books that I really, really loved. This book was like my gateway drug into the world of literature and it's hard to forget your first love, am I right?

Currently I live in Florida with my boyfriend and our two labradors. Don't worry, all three will be making appearances as time goes on. I work afternoons and nights at an office job that I like from time to time. Everyone has their bad days of course.

I am also in the midst of writing my own novel. Please don't ask me when it will be finished because right now it feels like never. But someday, someday…. Whoops, sorry! There I go again, staring wistfully at my ceiling.

Well there you have it. That's my about me, as they call it. I'd go into my favorite candy and happiest memory but I'm sure sooner or later I'll tell you all about it. For now, au revoir!
